Life Coaching — Penticton, BC
Life coaching in Penticton,
for a life that needs a second look
One-to-one, in person, for when it isn't one specific thing that's wrong — it's the general shape of things.
I started something new later in life than most people plan for, on purpose, and built this framework out of what that actually required. It isn't theory borrowed from somewhere else.
Life coaching, here, means something specific: looking at the direction you're actually heading, the standard you're holding yourself to, and whether the frame you've been using to interpret your own life still fits. Not a five-year plan. Not a vision board. An honest look at the core, and what's been built around it since.
What this actually looks like
Core Construction, applied to your actual life.
Two ideas do most of the work here. Core Construction is figuring out what you believe at the centre — not what you were told to believe, what you actually believe, once you look. Framing is everything built around that core: how you interpret what happens to you, the story you tell about your own week. Most people spend years adjusting the frame — a new job, a new routine, a new habit — without ever checking whether the core underneath needed the change in the first place.
Sessions work through whichever one is actually live for you right now. Sometimes that's a decision. Sometimes it's a pattern you keep repeating and can't quite name. Either way, the questions are the same size as your actual life — nothing here requires special knowledge or a particular belief to start.
I love you — but do you love you? That's a real question, not rhetorical.

Who this tends to be for
You don't need a crisis to start.
Some people come in mid-transition — a move within the South Okanagan, a retirement, a relationship ending, kids leaving the house. Others just have a nagging sense that they've been running someone else's version of their own life for a while. Both are fine starting points. Neither requires you to already know what you're looking for.
What I don't do is tell you what your life should look like when we're done. That decision stays yours the entire time — I'm not interested in creating someone who needs to keep coming back because they can't function without a coach.

Arrange a conversationBefore you write
Questions people actually ask.
How is this different from talking to a friend?
A friend usually has an opinion about what you should do. This is closer to a structured way of examining what you already believe, without me needing you to land somewhere specific by the end of it.
What if I don't know what I actually want yet?
That's a normal, workable starting point. Figuring out what you're actually asking is often the real first piece of work — most people arrive with a feeling, not a fully formed question.
Is this the same as therapy?
No. There's no diagnosis and it isn't a substitute for a mental health professional if that's genuinely what's needed. This is a conversation about direction and belief, not clinical treatment.
Do you work with people going through a big transition?
Often, yes — relocation, retirement, a relationship ending, a career shift. Big transitions tend to be exactly when the frame you've been using stops quietly fitting, which is usually when this kind of conversation is most useful.
Come on in
Say hello.
Start with a message. No form, no funnel — just an email or a call, answered by the person you'd actually be working with.
